Acoustically Absorbant

One of the key benefits of the Thermaloc system is the significant reduction in “drumming” often associated with elevated floor systems.

This describes the dissatisfying noisy echo that accompanies footfall, speech or music in homes.  When moulded into the Supaloc frames, the insulating material absorbs sound reverberation, providing an enhanced level of acoustic comfort in your home.

Moisture Resistant

Thermaloc rigid cellular insulation is vapour permeable, but moisture resistant.

The Thermaloc system allows your home to breathe, but has been designed to eliminate the risk of condensation between wall ceiling cavities and the need for a vapour barrier*.

The result is a hybrid frame construction method which not only guarantees the long-term durability of the steel structure but ensures that the insulation does not break down over time due to moisture ingress.
